What if you had lived your
whole life in a silo buried in the earth? This silo has hundreds of
levels each serving different functions and purposes…medical, manufacturing,
water treatment, gardens, IT. Some catastrophic event has occurred and it
is unsafe to go outside. In fact, if you do go outside, you will
die. The unthinkable happens…the sheriff ASKS to go outside setting in
motion all kinds of consequences.
This is the kind of book that
causes me to contemplate how would our world react to some catastrophic
event…would the good rise to the top…or would evil take control? I think
this book would be great for a book club. And the best part…it’s part of
a series. I can hardly wait for the next book in this saga.
